In September, I was elected to represent our 16 Western Region States and territories on the Budget Committee. Each region allocates one woman and one man to serve in this role.

The Budget Committee proposes the annual budget that reflects and drives the priorities of the RNC and is a highly impactful committee to the operations of the RNC.

I promised to work to elevate Utah on the national political stage, and this is one big move that puts Utah in a seat at one of the most important tables for national politics. I am grateful to new RNC colleagues who supported me as the “new girl” to do this job, but I have been committed to move into every opportunity to insert Utah.
